The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will finalize the decision on the Ramadan moon sighting based on eyewitness accounts. The committee will receive calls for evidence and also invite people from the private Ruet committees to record their statements. The committee will cross-question people recording their evidence to ascertain the same.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has also expressed its desire to create a consensus on the issue of Ramadan moon sighting so that the holy month of Ramazan falls on the same day across the country.

It is worth noting that the Ramadan moon was not sighted in India and Bangladesh. Additionally, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has stated that the chances of moon sighting in Peshawar are low due to cloudy weather in the city.
